Just seeing his name in a thread title on the Bulls page gives me anxiety.

No we did not. We never had the right coaches in place to develop him. And he likely mentally wasn’t in a place to perform at the level he’s playing.

When your career is in jeopardy it’s funny how some players can make that rapid change.

Look, good on Campayne for keeping his NBA dream alive, but no. No we did not give up on him too early. He looked entirely horrible his whole time here. I don't know how much time you needed to give that bumbling idiot a chance.

Wow. Thread titles I'd never thought I would see. Fans gave up on Payne, as a consensus, after about five minutes. If that's too soon, then yes we did.

We gave up a HOFamer too soon...

I like the quote- it makes me chuckle. And it was/is pretty much true.

Is Cam Payne a HOFer and Ja Morant not? That's ironic.

We did not give him up too early since we have the opportunity to draft his doppelgänger, Killian Hayes.
We have Martell Webster. He's called Kyle Korver here, and we shall love him and squeeze him and call him Ashton. -BrooklynBulls

While he's a flawed player, I'm not sure either of Arci or Dunn are better than him. Should we have kept him?

I can't even think about it.

The problem is not time related, it's staff related.
We have a short and incompetent staff.

Thats why we need a guy like Atkinson at the helm. He gets more out of less. Even as much as we for some reason rag on Thibs, he always got more out of less too. Nate looked great with him, Augustin who was picked off the scrap heap, Bellinelli, hell he even made John Lucas the 3rd useful.

Our development has been piss poor, probably bottom of the league

Our FA probably bottom of the league.

Debating which average player is better is a futile conversation.

Shaq > Dunn as a defensive specialist

I just looked up his 2020 stats. They looked really good, excellent shooting, he's rebounding more, decent turnover to assist ratio. I was like, "OK." Then I saw ... based on 8 games, 183 minutes.

Never mind.

We really don’t like it when picks bust out. Even when they turn serviceable, no one likes McDermit anyway because of what he was here. Cam Payne though was extra special. He was just not likable in anyway.

You know what will happen? The Bulls will trade Tomas Satoransky (despite his thread being closed) and he'll light it up for his new team to open the season and there will be a new thread---Did we give up on Tomas Satoransky Too Soon?
