there wont be any rush to make the picks thats for sure. Already plenty of trade discussions have gone down and will go down especially when we find out who is available. But no stalling either. Happy medium.

Last few player profiles will be up today on deck: LMA, Kanter, Korver and maybe 1 or 2 more.

and then top 10 rankings of free agents at each position (based on SIM production) and team profiles will be out following the draft

Yo real talk, this cat is doing the most.

Why not straight up assistant GM for other teams? Like where does it end? Can we provide our passwords and you place the free agent bids for us too?

This league started as a spin-off of BAT. In BAT we couldn't even name-drop (except for Eddy Curry) during small talk in discussion threads with a draft in the balance.

Yet here we are allowing a GM to provide an offseason instructional manual to guide competing GMs on how to strategize their bids. To purposely provide info other teams may not have done their due diligence on, in order to gain an advantage by hurting other teams the offending GM views as competition.

This guy has openly admitted to an attempt at free agent market manipulation via suggested salary quoting and contract terms in profiles. Outlining clear strategy in bold font on how to prioritize targets and why.

If that's not a conflict of interest, then I don't know what is. To me that is more of an egregious offense than accidentally name dropping during a BAT draft.

I'm cool with the rankings. But these team and player profiles are out of line. I could see if they were done by a third-party who had no ulterior motive. But coming from a participating GM, everyone knows there is an agenda yet people act like this is kosher.

If this is going to be allowed and promoted as good for the league then where is the line drawn?

So offering consultant services to other GMs has the greenlight?

The laughable aspect is that the league would actually allow that nonsense if he had the actual intel on the draft prospects to do it.

So lets see. Maybe to get an edge I can offer CashApp payments to GMs as a deal facilitator under the guise of "cash considerations." I mean, it's done in the NBA right? GMs can offer up to $3 million, right? At least that is something legal in the actual NBA. But dudes would cry foul if a GM did that.

Yet in the history of NBA basketball no GM would openly operate the way this dude does. Straight up conflict of interest all across the board. Yet it's allowed. But before in BAT we couldn't even talk about players in a competition when it could effect team building.

No one is saying anything cuz GMs know this makes them have less work to do. And it's benefiting them. But that doesn't make it right, or good for the league.

I do think what Hoffa is doing is pretty childish. He’s also basically doing team’s homework for them. I’d be mad if I had to resign my free agents or had a bunch of cap space wanting to make a big splash in free agency. If a GM irl did this they would get fined for tampering and forced to forfeit draft picks.

its not tampering since these are all free agents, when Kawhi was a free agent the whole league was talking about where he would end up last off-season

and yes i maybe saving teams a bit of homework, but some of you have said none of what i say is factual or realistic anyways so why does it bother you so much
