Yo real talk, this cat is doing the most.
Why not straight up assistant GM for other teams? Like where does it end? Can we provide our passwords and you place the free agent bids for us too?
This league started as a spin-off of BAT. In BAT we couldn't even name-drop (except for Eddy Curry) during small talk in discussion threads with a draft in the balance.
Yet here we are allowing a GM to provide an offseason instructional manual to guide competing GMs on how to strategize their bids. To purposely provide info other teams may not have done their due diligence on, in order to gain an advantage by hurting other teams the offending GM views as competition.
This guy has openly admitted to an attempt at free agent market manipulation via suggested salary quoting and contract terms in profiles. Outlining clear strategy in bold font on how to prioritize targets and why.
If that's not a conflict of interest, then I don't know what is. To me that is more of an egregious offense than accidentally name dropping during a BAT draft.
I'm cool with the rankings. But these team and player profiles are out of line. I could see if they were done by a third-party who had no ulterior motive. But coming from a participating GM, everyone knows there is an agenda yet people act like this is kosher.
If this is going to be allowed and promoted as good for the league then where is the line drawn?
So offering consultant services to other GMs has the greenlight?
