The cupboard's empty anyway. In your version we'd have 3 years left of max contract Middleton remaining. Oh joy!
Well, no it's not, because you have an all-star so...... You should have been able to recognize how bad the argument you're making was when you're comparing Middleton to Donte Divincenzo as it pertains to bare cupboards.
So in your totally good argument Paul takes a dip and Middleton remains an all star. Got it!
Holy crap dude, is this real? You are becoming a caricature of yourself with the knee-jerk pessimism. I never even saw twirlie get this bad for this long on the Brewers board. It's probably time to meditate or something. A guy who just turned 29 and whose game is mostly based on good size at his position and shooting is more likely to decline than a 35-year-old who was recently healthy for the entire playoffs (one series) for maybe the third time in 6 seasons after missing at least 20 games in each of the three previous seasons?
If the cupboard is empty with Khris and Giannis, why are guys like Bledsoe, Lopez, and Hill so happy to be Bucks that they accepted fair market offers on the first day of free agency, if not before free agency even began? Why was Mirotic so happy that he talked Pau into joining as well? Why did Marvin join the Bucks when basically every single contender wanted to add him for the same price? Why did Wes and Korver join when so many contenders wanted them? Yeah, those guys aren't great, but the point is they could have joined lots of contenders and they chose the Bucks. It's a ridiculous argument.
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.
