Not what we need, go look up his playoff stats with GSW (His only playoffs in his career).
for the Vet Min, maybe. But we need a reliable big.
They said Jimmy had an attitude too. Zo also. Which they did, but perhaps DeMarcus has been humbled over the past few years and would benefit from our organisational structure and discipline. Outside of his brief time in Golden State, he hasn't exactly been around winning organisations or situations. No doubt he could've handled himself better during those stints in Sacramento and New Orleans too, but perhaps he has a bit more maturity and perspective after the past couple seasons.
The playoff stats is super small sample size alert. Wouldn't read a lot into that run - he missed like 70% of the regular season, played a little, got injured and missed like 2 full series' and then came back and played OK in limited minutes in the Finals they lost. He was also playing injured:

His injury history makes him unreliable for much more than a vet minimum signing, but if you could get him a team option 2nd year, I'd do it in a heart beat.
Ideally, we'd pick up another veteran big man who is OK being a third stringer but can step in for 15 minutes a night if something happened to Boogie. Perhaps Leonard is that guy, or we look at an improved version of Leonard in Aron Baynes as the potential stretch 5 option and forgo Boogie.
Given our contract situation and cap space, it's hard to find a better low risk/high reward signing than Cousins. I don't think anyone is under any illusions that it isn't 2017-18 anymore and he's not a 25/12/5 guy. Could he be a 15/7/2 guy with a decent 3pt shot? I think so. We need more size, and even with his diminished lateral quickness, he still provides a rebounder and a big that would fit alongside Bam offensively.
All depends on his health and commitment. If we weren't on his radar before, we certainly will be now.
