And you think Precious or Smith can guard Embiid or Adebayo?
Any big we draft is likely gonna be our third big much like any guard we draft will be our third guard. Really don't get this idea that whatever big we draft is going to be an immediate contributor while any upside guard won't. Bigs generally take longer to contribute to a winning team.
Bey or Nesmith could provide second unit scoring. Obi Toppin took awhile to get going but he looks to have a decent all-around game and he may slip due to his age.
As for the bigs, who knows? From the film I've watched, Okongwu is pretty good defensively, but he will go somewhere in the top 10. The others are all too skinny. That's why I'd be looking at a guy like Isaiah Stewart with a late first rounder. His offensive shills are purely back to the basket but he runs the floor and makes his free throws, which may bode well for his ability to develop an outside shot.
I also like Leandro Bolmaro as a draft and stash candidate with a late first rounder. He can's shoot at all, but he defends and has point guard skills at 6-7. Sort of an Evan Turner type and only 19 years old.
