This is exactly the opposite of what should be happening. Primaries are there for a reason. If Democrats can’t collectively get their **** together they won’t make it to 2024.

Senate balance hangs on GA now. If both Dems can force a run-off and then win in January, then Senate should be 50-50. Kamala holds the deciding vote then, effectively neutering McConnell. Perdue is hovering around 50% so this is close.

It's conceivable not probable considering the good reverend barely beat the wnba owner despite the huge split in votes between the two republicans being in the race.

The other spot will get decided between Perdue and Ossoff because there is enough votes with Perdue leading by nearly 3 pts with 97% of the votes in. The other special election didn't have enough so they will do a run-off.

Purdue just needs to drop under 50% for Ossoff to force a runoff. So it’s very possible. It’s so stupid why states can’t start counting mail in votes weeks ahead of time.

Correct me if I'm wrong but a run-off will only happen in 1 of the senate elecation in GA.

The other one has plenty of votes to not be a run off between perdue and ossof.

The reason the other one is going for a runoff because no one got higher than 33% of the vote mostly due to two republican candidates splitting the vote.

ahh gotcha I stand corrected. I din't know if he was still leading at 49.9 they would still have a run off.

If you put these ideas on a ballot as a ballot measure, not tied to some candidate, they win! That's why you look at Florida, the ballot measure to raise the minimum wage to $15 won over Biden in the state by 15 pts. (biden got 45% and this ballot measure 60%) But Biden is the one who has promised to implement it. Very strange something to think about

Let’s see how it plays out. Trump needs to get 60% of the remaining votes in Maricopa. No point stressing it tonight we won’t know the results until tomorrow. It would be interesting if Georgia and Arizona flip but who knows.
