Truth is, not sure any of the parties have the people we need in the pipeline. Most of them don't have the people's interests over their own. I had hope in Bernie though.
All that said, Trump is just encouraging racism and the main priority is him being out of office. Biden is not going to encourage racism and will say/do what needs to be done even if he is doing so for self-serving reasons.
I didn't vote Biden, but if I was in a swing state I would have. Just to be done with the one that will promote more racism, hate and death.
At least the democratic party has people like Sanders and AOC
I'll be pounding this drum til the end of time, but if we want future leaders at the national level we like, we have to start voting for them at the state level
Vote for your state senators and state representatives, folks. That's how you start filling up the pipeline with good candidates, and your vote counts for a lot more in those races cause they're much smaller in scale. I know it's a lot to ask to pay attention to lower level politics, but they affect you just as much if not more in some ways than national level politics. Especially if you vote for judges
Democracy is a continual process, not an occasional one.
