If Dolan hired Leon to watch big names traded from place to place while the Knicks sit back and "rebuild" I'd be shocked. I'm really worried that this might be an opportunity that Leon won't pass up in terms of getting a big name on the Knicks. Really hope I'm wrong though

He also hired some really smart analytics people. If you are looking for the big name to draw in other free agents Westbrook is not your guy. No one wants to play with him because he is inefficient and a cry baby.

I mean the Rockets did the same thing, they still traded for him though.

I'm sorry but someone who doesn't show up for a job interview prepared, shouldn't be considered an option. You have no school, no work and you show up to a showcase out of shape, zero conditioning, and missing a bunch of shots? Maxey looked like what Edwards should have looked like. I'm sorry but lazy just wont cut it in NYC. We've seen this before and it never ends pretty.

Donovan Mitchell is 216 pounds at 24 years of age. Anthony Edwards is 225 and an inch taller. It would be Mitchell on steroids. Now that's not saying he will be DMitch, people worried whats between Edwards ears, but you hired Thibs and development staff so if you believe they are that good. You prove it and trade for Edwards. I would even trade RJ for Edwards. People don't want to face it RJ is good but he's at best a 2nd or 3rd option. We need players with the potential to be all stars.

Excuse me but did he move around the same way DMitch did during his workouts? If memory serves me, DMitch was a beast during workouts. I don't give a damn if you are jacked and taller when your slower and running out of breath on you own while being shown up by a kid that's going to be picked in the mid to back end of the draft. I trust my eyes more than just numbers. The guy doesnt have it in him. You WANT him to be that but he didn't show out in Georgia and his didnt show out in his show case. All he did was jack up shots to pad his stats. For a top three pick he has horrible efficiency. You are what you repeatedly do.

I also agree with you. It's a risk. But I'll ask you the same question I asked earlier. In 5 years who has more potential to be a multiple Allstar? Mitch or Edwards?

i think they're gonna have to adjust the cba again. westbrook and paul's contracts are just too big. you keep going up in price as you get older but you start to decline at around 30.

Based on what we have seen? Mitch. He came in and took things over when everyone thought he needed more development leading into the draft. He cam in locked in, every team he tried out for said he had amazing workouts, and he took his development to heart from the start and that's why he made so much noise the moment he stepped onto the court. Maybe he proves me wrong but there is nothing that he has shown me to prove me otherwise. Ask yourself this....IF he was focused and had desire like a true top pick would have, would there be any doubt on who the #1 overall pick would be? He came in with a lot of hype but he really let it all slip through his fingers which is why he is projected to go #3 instead of #1

Wrong question. The question is which player will help you win more games?

I can agree with that. I just wish the kid had a better approach. Just to be clear, talent wise, I never doubted his abilities.
