His 2nd year numbers, while being 2 years younger, are almost identical to Horfords 2nd year. He's a slightly worse rim protector and passer, but again, thats being a couple years younger. Like Horford, he makes winning plays, no matter how simple and boring they are.
Getting Carter and Okoro for the 2nd pick would be very solid IMO. Imagine if then they can somehow get Gallo for the MLE and Rubio for the TPE....
Steph / Rubio / Bowman
Klay / Okoro / Poole
Wiggins / Gallo / Lee
Dray / Paschall / Smiley
Carter / Chriss / Looney
Some think its sleeping on Wendall Carter Jnr, others like me, would be saying you're reaching suggesting we trade for him using the #2.
He aint all that. He wouldn't immediately become our starting C, he'd just become a guy that is competing now against Looney and Chriss for the starting spot and then the minutes that we don't play Dray there. I'd say we already have his type here anyway, in Looney. I don't see the point in making him any sort of centrepiece for the #2.
I see no deal with the Bulls. None of their players get me excited for the #2 pick. I like Coby White as a guy to backup Steph, and Sato as a backup as well, but still wouldn't include the #2 for either.
