If this needs to be a 3 teamer than would this work:
GS: Wiggins and 2nd--> OKC
PHX: Rubio and Oubre-->GS
OKC: CP3-->PHX
Seems to get everyone what they need.
I did a slight variation on your premise that I find yo be really beneficial to all teams involved honestly!
Phoenix/ Golden state/ Detroit/ OKChttps://tradenba.com/trades/-yf84WMbM*** Phoenix can add a 2023 protected first ( To Detroit IF necessary). Or to OKC, And in turn, OKC would send the 25th pick to Detroit as a (sweetener).
But basically, Each team gets really solid value!
GS gets-
* BOTH Rubio and Oubre, AND gets off of Wiggins contract. Now they can really compete, And with Wiggins off the books, They could easily resign Oubre for less than what the were paying Oubre, Or they could flip him for value at the deadline!
Detroit gets-
Wiggins contract ( absorbed) and Ty Jerome. But also gets the # 2 pick ( and either a PHX 2023 protected first OR the 25th pick ( OKC). They also still have around 26 million for free agency post trade. Meaning they could take Edward's or Ball with the trade, And then look at any of Bertans, Joe Harris, Jerami Grant or resign wood, And still add further depth in free agency, Or could flip the 2nd for more draft assets, etc. This is a super sweet deal for them honestly.
OKC gets-
20 million in expiring contracts, two young prospects in Mikhailiuk and Okobo to take a chance on IF they prefer. And the 7th pick in the draft, Giving them much higher value than the 10th pick alone! Plus they also basically save 40 million from moving Paul's contract, So this affords them close to 2 max contract slots in 2021 free agency.
** Phoenix could also add either Lecque or Owen's as well if OKC would prefer ( young prospects). After all, Lecque has been compared to a young Westbrook (athletically). So it might intrigue Presti!
Phoenix gets-
Chris Paul, Luke Kennard, Eric Paschall.
We keep our 10th pick, And still have around 7 million before hitting the cap line, And then we'd have our Full MLE, And exceptions with which to round out our roster.
* We trade the 10 to Minnesota for the 16 and 33rd picks.
16- Draft Desmond Bane.
33- Draft Tyler Bey.
** We buy a mid 2nd for Killian Tillie **.
Around 3.6 million ( absorbed once we decline Kaminsky/ Okobo/ Lecque)???
We resign Saric at 14/ 2 ( 2nd yr TO).
Then using our full MLE, We......................
- Sign Milsap at around 9 million ( 1 yr deal).
Then use our room exception to................
- Sign Rondae Hollis Jefferson? At 8 /2 ( 2nd yr TO).
- Sign Nerlens Noel ( veterans minimum)?
Our lineup becomes:
- Paul/ Kennard/ Payne.
- Booker/ Bane/ Carter.
- Bridges/ RHJ/ T Bey.
- Milsap/ Saric/ Tillie.
- Ayton/ Noel/ Saric.
That's a team with really potent offense, And really strong versatile defense as well.
