If he could develop a jumper and become a closer than this is all he needs to win. If not then Jrue is an upgrade but not in the area they need to win.
Whose available out there that was a bucket at the end of games? Holiday would be the closest thing to that he and rondo are the reason they won that Portland series. People say Paul he’s not scoring in the fourth like that holiday is better
Well... CP3 was the best closer in the NBA last year so that's just wrong.
But I would never advocate trading for a 35 year old PG.
I guess only Harden is the confirmed closer out there, not sure if Middleton and 5 first round picks get it done or not.
And as much hate as he gets, Paul George may have been another option.
It's not a terrible trade by any means, just not the ideal one as the final piece for the Bucks championship. The equation remains the same... can Greek Freak hit end of game mid range shots for the win or not. If he can then he's LeBron, if he can't he's what he is right now.
I think it's a good trade, solid at bat. But not a sure home run. I'm not sure PG is what they needed as ideally, you'd want the ball in the Greek Freaks hands. But again it improves their strengths and keeps their weaknesses the same so it's a solid trade.
