Are you talking about the pick, or your incessant negative posts lacking any real thought, or analysis?

He is a child.
Like, eyes wide open, looks like his brain is moving 100 miles an hour. He has soooooooooo much to work on.
Also, he is a good athlete, don't get me wrong. But I do not see ELITE athleticism. Laterally, I don't see elite. Good, maybe great leaper. Good speed, not great. If your gonna draft a high upside athlete, he had better be a elite at it. I don't think he is. He turned 19 in August. We'll have to wait 3 years before we actually see what we have.
I'll wait...

Jury's out on whether Hunter at #4 was a good move.
Good comp with Deandre Hunter. Patrick will likely take a few years as he just turned 19. Hope it pans out.
Starting on his second deal as a 22 year old.

Finally, we have a strong GM and we have to give him and his team a chance to evaluate what we have, make a couple of draft picks and free agent signings, build a coaching staff and develop our young players. This is a weak draft in a year where there was no NCAA tournament to help evaluate players. We will see how this pick works out, but the crying has to stop. Trust the process. Trust the new management. Let's Go Bulls!

And we still won’t know what he will be, which leads to an overpay

He's a risk, but he's a Draymond/Zion type, no? His wing-span and weight are currently under specs to play C, but I have been complaining about the Bulls' lack of an athletic tweener forward for 10 years right now. It is actually incredible that this type of player has been off the Bull's radar for the entire decade.
While "old-school PF is dead", the hybrid forward is the most important position in basketball, period. These teams that could switch their forwards between PF and SF or C and not skip a beat, they're the ones winning chips and contending. He's gonna be able to guard Lebron, Tatum, Durant, Jimmy, Kawhi, George, Luka -- and he does have a base of handling, shooting and pass skills.
Honestly, Deni/Hayes/Hali all these intriguing guys, as we got closer to the draft, I started getting nervous we were gonna come away with a 6th man. Williams has a chance to become an anchor. Also correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like Williams can palm the ball ala MJ/Kawhi. If he's got that going, then I'm double sold.
Positionless basketball is whats up. He’ll guard big wings and switch to help in the paint. I think the defense will really be turbocharged with him and WCJ pairings. And someone specifically mentioned that he has huge hands. Jerry Krause would love this.

If we don't know what he is by then, doubt he'd be an overpay.

AK was savvy with MPJ and Bol Bol, but literally anybody would have picked those guys as they fell as far as they did.
We basically have the new Kris Dunn of weird tweeners.
