Nail in the coffin... I just hope this was due to Bogdanovic backing out, and if so that someone leaks that detail
If what Kevin O’Connor says here is true......
1.) The original plan was for the Bucks to include more in the sign and trade with Sacramento (i.e. Bledsoe, George Hill, first round picks...) so there was more money aggregated and freed up to give to Bogey....more in the dollars per year he was seeking (18 mil per year or more). My guess is Bogey and his agents wanted similar money to what Malcom Brogdon got last year.
2.) Bucks blew nearly every tradeable asset they had in the Jrue trade...therefore not having enough salary wise to give back to the Kings.
3.) Once Bogey's agents pieced together the the salary of what the Bucks were sending out, versus what they could offer Bogey (14+ mil per year), they got cold feet and backed out.
So if that is the case, the Bucks screwed up....and even if the Kings agreed to the trade parameters, nobody checked with Bogey to see if 14+ mil per year was going to be okay with him because they couldn't contact him to discuss money.
