More than anything, it sucks to sit and wait all day.

I mean, they used to do it at midnight, so...

Just a reminder that they still aren't allowed to negotiate until later today. If we get dinged for this only for somebody else to come in and do the exact same thing right behind us, it's absolutely ****.

It feels pretty obvious that it’s already happened.

However, the #1 rule of tampering is “Be Lebron”, the #2 rule is “If not Lebron, don’t get caught.”

But even if there were a leak and the exact details were legit, why is it OK for an NBA journo with no affiliation with any of the parties involved to have the power to (apparently) sink a deal because he tweets out a "done deal" while there are others endlessly talking about talks going on and where it seems like players are going to land all day? Make Woj 100% give up his source privately or the investigation should never have even been announced.

All the tweet did was invite an investigation. The nba isn’t handing out penalties based solely on the tweet.

The investigation could be as simple as calling Bogdan’s agent. “Um, we a saw a tweet you have a deal with the Bucks. Is this true, did they reach out to you already? Yes? Okay, we’ll be in touch.”
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

I’m just relieved the billionaire owners now have a path to sneak in under the luxury tax.

The sad thing about this whole thing is that people actually think we are ok with DDV.

The last thing I want is for the Bucks to sign a couple of over the hill aging semi-stars who cannot keep up with the speed of the game today. If I were Bucks management, I'd sit tight at this point and let the free agency market play out. You always have a shot at signing a couple of decent late 20's type players who were expecting a 2-year / 30 million dollar deal, but saw the market dry up on them. These type of players will then turn to championship caliber teams to sign a 1-year deal on the cheap to prove their worth. Please no panic Snell type signings at midnight tonight.

Maybe they somehow got Beal to come here instead...

LMFAO who am I kidding. I'm just trying to look for anything. This sucks.

The simmons pod made it seem like the kings backed out or bog backed out. They said they were under the impression that Bledsoe was inolved which would have made his contract bigger and that there was a first coming back.. so maybe that was the case until the price went up for Jrue and we chose Jrue.

No idea. They say he has a team and its not Milwaukee but then go on to make it sesm like they have no idea who that team is.. so how could they know he has a team then?

I wont be surprised no matter what happens.

If youre Giannis, what now? This roster is in shambles..

I’d bet he goes to Atlanta for 18/yr and he soon gets tired of watching Trae Young take 35 footers, 25 shots a game, and get destroyed in defense. Have fun.

I don't know what it is about the way Donte misses layups that people think he has a problem, but Donte shot 65.5% inside of 3 feet last year. He shot 55% from 2 with a defender within 2 feet. He does not have this problem.

If Simmons knows he's signing with another team, then it may be Boston, since he's plugged in there.

These thread title changes are confusing me. I keep popping in thinking there's an update and it's just continued misery.

I mean.....really? If the difference between getting a guy like Bogdan and not getting Bogdan is that massive then how can anyone convince themselves this was a championship roster with him? And I say this as someone still livid that the deal (probably) isn't going through. The only thing potentially catastrophic about this whole ordeal, is if this specifically is the reason Giannis doesn't sign the super-max in the next couple days.

Woj probably knows who that team is, but has suddenly developed amnesia.

Sorry lol, I'll leave it alone until/if there is an actual update.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

it would have to be 100 percent tampering. i sure hope the league is going to investigate and veto it

You guys can draw your own conclusions about their take. They dance around the issue of the Bucks being irrationally exuberant and wanting to tell the world.

Simmons: "Bogdanovic has a team, he's not going to the Bucks, he is going elsewhere"

Nail in the coffin... I just hope this was due to Bogdanovic backing out, and if so that someone leaks that detail

If what Kevin O’Connor says here is true......

1.) The original plan was for the Bucks to include more in the sign and trade with Sacramento (i.e. Bledsoe, George Hill, first round picks...) so there was more money aggregated and freed up to give to Bogey....more in the dollars per year he was seeking (18 mil per year or more). My guess is Bogey and his agents wanted similar money to what Malcom Brogdon got last year.

2.) Bucks blew nearly every tradeable asset they had in the Jrue trade...therefore not having enough salary wise to give back to the Kings.

3.) Once Bogey's agents pieced together the the salary of what the Bucks were sending out, versus what they could offer Bogey (14+ mil per year), they got cold feet and backed out.

So if that is the case, the Bucks screwed up....and even if the Kings agreed to the trade parameters, nobody checked with Bogey to see if 14+ mil per year was going to be okay with him because they couldn't contact him to discuss money.
