Indy in:
Hayward
Julius (they can use him with Turner gone)
Boston in:
Turner
Knox or DSJ whichever they like best
2nd round pick
Knicks in:
Dipo
Jeremy Lamb
Lamb is coming very bad injury. And our front office want to see what dsj and knox have under good coaching staff and not the dumpster fire we had the last few years . Can we not include them, especially knox, ever stupid trade like they are throws in. You trade knox to another team and put up 18 a game , how would that makes us look?
Like the Knicks, its what we always do. We haven't signed a rookie to a contract extension since Charlie Ward! What do you want to do with our cap space? You don't think getting Dipo who I know had a tough injury but was an All-Star and has shown a better three point stroke is worth giving up Knox and being able to dump Randle (who I believe has negative value). Lamb is a big 2 who can shoot it decent and his contract is 10 mill a year, it aint bad. I am okay with dumping Knox because he hasn't shown the drive, motor, or love for the game that i want in a young player on my team. I had high hopes for him and forgot about the lack of a motor that i saw at Kentucky because i thought he could be a stretch 4 but hes really a 2 guard masquerading in the body of a 3/4. Knox aint it. Sorry my patience has run out but if you know anything about Thibs you know he doesnt play young guys AND he doesnt play guys who dont put forth max effort or play D. I would rather see Knox go to another team and play well than be nailed to our bench, which is exactly what will happen once Thibs starts working with him.
