Nah, Frank still has too much to show improvement on. He’s already passive and you wanna give him a bag?
I'd do this in a heartbeat & if it doesn't work out. I bet you could still trade him to the spurs or something

this time it's probably for real. RJ and Mitch look like core pieces, and Obi was 1 of the safer picks in the draft. add in a top 10 pick in a loaded 2021 (as well as 3 other picks that'll be in the top 40) and I like our chances
Top 10 picks mean nothing. Knox, Frank and even DSJ are all top 10 picks. How are they looking? Everyone says the draft is loaded, but perceptions about draft classes can change real quick. The 2014 draft was supposed to be loaded with Wiggins, Parker and Embiid and now only one of those players is an allstar level player
Even if we get a top 3 pick there is no guarantee that the pick is an allstar. At least one pick in the top 3 is a bust every year. Sh*t even if we get the first pick and draft Cade there is no guarantee we win anything. In the past 10 years the only number one pick to win a championship has been Anthony Davis and Kyrie. If you expand the list to the past 20 years the list increases to Lebron, Dwight, AD, Bogut, Kyrie.
Only Lebron has won as the best player on a championship team, playing on the team that drafted him 1st in the past 20 YEARS. And he had to leave win in Miami and come back for that to happened.
Stop tanking. Try to be competitive.
some prospects fail, it happens, that's why during the rebuilding phase you load up on picks. more bites at the apple=more chances for success
true there is a chance that our top pick next year is a bust, but there's still a greater chance we find a star w/ that pick than we would bu signing some B-level FA's + we also have 4 picks in the top 40 (hornets and pistons will be bottom 10 teams)
there are at least 7 prospects that had they been eligible to be drafted Wednesday, would have easily gone #1. things could change, the draft might not end up as good as we thought, could also end up better. after watching some of them, I think there are some truly special talents (Cade, Green, Boston most notably)
you can't win in this league w/o stars and you can either draft, sign, or trade for stars. since I dont see any stars signing here (even in 2021), and there are none on the trade market (other than Harden, who doesn't want to be here), the draft is the most viable option as well as accumulating picks + young talent in case another star becomes available via trade

And i don't think Randle is gonna be too happy about coming off the bench. Culver was #6 pick last yr. Has potential to pan out. And Hernangomez is serviceable backup stretch 4.
