You dump Kemba (next offseason) and have max cap space and can re-sign Smart still using Bird Rights.

This is all we can hope for. as I said, we have no need for a 31 year old pg on this team as currently constituted.

Okay, here's the quick math...

If we clear everyone from the books except Tatum, Brown, Rob, Grant, Romeo, and Aaron, we'll have cap space for a max FA in 2021.

Obviously if we keep Smart instead of Jaylen, that opens up more room for picks and stuff.

Can we still get there with Smart?

If it's just Tatum, Smart, and Brown, we can only sign an FA at 30% of salary cap. So no GIannis.
