If Marc Gasol leaves too then who plays center for the Raptors?

Well the trade is really Harrell and Green for Ibaka no? Lost depth might be an issue.

Clippers really need to find a PG who can properly run a pick and pop.

Even though Lou Williams played badly overall in the bubble, he is not bad in screen roll and pop situations. He is actually not as selfish as some people think he is.

Lowry also really likes Kawhi, he might go next year.

They did re-sign Patrick Patterson. He isn't as good of a defender as Green but he is a better shooter- although a bit streaky

He gets a lot, and I mean a lot, of points spoon fed by Lowry and to a lesser extent FVV. Who exactly on LA is a good distributor?

Still a good player for a guy in his mid/late 30's.

We are just pissed he joined the clippers and at such a low price that signals some under the table deal from Ballmer.

For all clipper fans: let's hope Lu doesnt start Ibaka next to Zubac. And remember these two words

"Stone hands"

Enjoy!

Green leaving definitely hurts. He was solid and hit some big shots. Good locker room guy too. I'm not mad at him for leaving. He deserved more minutes, and if Denver can give them to him, then it's a win-win deal.

Yeah and the Clippers really needed him even though he doesn’t play much D. Clippers still need depth as they lost Harrell and Green so we shall see how the handle the rest of the season.

If they add Gasol then the bigs are set. They need to add backup big plus guard help.

Ibaka was better on O and kind of poor on D.
Opposite for Gasol who performed well on D.

Gasol would be a good stretch 5 for the Lakers.

Though if Lakers get him Gasol is washed. If Clippers get him then Gasol is reborn.

Gasol was already washed last season, nothing will change that this season.

He's only good in very specific matchups and in limited minutes.

Not a fan of this signing for the Clippers at all, since Ibaka doesn't fill any of their playmaking or defensive needs. He shoots the ball really well for a big man, but that's about it. He can't switch onto the perimeter and gets cooked in the PnR easily, he's too small to defend post-ups from bigger centres, and he's not the shotblocker that he was five years ago. Ibaka is a black hole on offense: he likes to take shots after getting the ball and he reads the floor too slowly, so don't expect him to bail out an already poorly designed Clippers offense, which is basically guys taking turns isolating. Ibaka has a really bad habit of making boneheaded decisions and losing his temper sometimes, and he moves slowly like a statue because he's lost so much athleticism over the years. Did I mention that he has hands of stone too? Nurse did an excellent job masking his numerous weaknesses with the Raptors (a stark reversal of his time under Doofus Casey where he was just atrocious), and Lowry got him a ton of easy points with his excellent playmaking. The Clippers don't have a coach like Nurse, nor do they have a point guard like Lowry, so I expect Ibaka to be worse on the Clippers while not filling any of their needs for them.

That’s exactly what the Lakers need after DHoward panicked. Hope we can land Marc Gasol and sign Pau as honorary player before he retires. That would be classy.

I don't think anyone really likes Kawhi, Kawhi is not the friendly type. If Kyle leaves Toronto, Philly is a likely destination.
