That's the perception because he plays tough but if you look into the statistics they speak a very different language. The Clippers did substantially better when he was off the floor vs on. I don't have the stats handy but maybe someone else does.
Well up to the bubble, Harrell was a force off the bench. But then COVID or something stopped him? He wasn't himself in the playoffs was completely off. I mean sure he is a risk but if he is at full strength and motivated, he could be someone that Mavs would need. I can't see Crowder leaving Miami unless they don't have the money for him. He was actually really good for them.
When it comes to rookies, they'll need time to adjust, this season will probably be quite hectic and it's also shorter again. Every game will count and we don't know how good Powell will be and KP missing couple of games, Mavs will need every help that they can get but i don't think these rookies can have such a big impact right from the start.
Even if let's say he'll be a force - the guy can't hit a three. This will never work in our system, it's essentially an undersized bulked up version of Powell then.
