Bazemore wanted to play with Wanamaker. Huge mistake by Ainge not resigning Brad

No matter how many times BCGM says this, it remains quite distant from reality. Jaylen's stop-and-multi-fake midrange drives matter. They aren't elite drives to the rim; they aren't teardrops/floaters; they aren't Kembaesque stepback stop-and-pops. But they are similarly effective in a diffferent way.
Jaylen's switchability on defense matters too. He can guard three positions solidly and credibly fake guarding the other two.
I actually agree that he's a natural SF, just like Jaylen and Gordon are. I think Marcus and Kemba should both start, at least against most opponents. But this Jaylen bashing continues to be way overwrought.
I've said ad nauseam he's great in his role, which is to stand in the corner and shoot wide open threes and scoring in transition. How is this construed as bashing? I legit cannot name many, if any, other guys in the NBA who can defend like you mentioned while also being money on wide open threes. But he doesn't have an even average handle. And he isn't a playmaker due to his BBIQ. I think after 4 years, despite modest improvements in both areas, this is who he is. And it's because of this, he's not elite like some of these other shooting guards, who can take over games because they are multi-faceted on offense. Are people really arguing that he's better than Harden, Beal, Booker, Mitchell or Murray? If not, what's the problem? Why all the consternation. I've literally said nothing to warrant people clutching pearls over. Perhaps I don't fawn over him at an acceptable rate? Is that it?

currently Jaylen is a stand in the corner and shoot wide open C & S threes and transition scorer only, dependent on others getting him the ball. That's literally what Nesmith and SGs like Redick, Klay, Green excel at too. Typically, the better SGs have that ability but also can initiate the offense and attack defenses off the dribble (Wade, Booker, Kobe, MJ, Beal, Mitchell) unlike Jaylen due to his poor handle. Wait, are homers actually tryin to claim Jaylen doesn't have an atrocious handle that prevents him from doing this? lmao. Is it some slight wanting Jaylen to move to the 3? What a touchy sensitive bunch his defenders are.
I'm not confident Nesmith can do all those extra things but I am confident he can do exactly what Jaylen does in our offense and has the physical profile and athleticism to approximate his defense. So, while my moronic haters like to make it out as if I've said something controversial, it's anything but. That said, I think Nesmith moves without the ball and is a better shooter than Jaylen so he'll be an upgrade in that respect. But I'm not sure he has Jaylen's post up game or transition game nor on the ball defense. But when you lose Hayward you have to plug in players where they can replace that production. I like Smart off the bench. I don't know why suggesting Nesmith, who is an excellent prospect, should start is rustling Jimmies

PHO gets Zeller (they get a backup center unless they just plan on re-signing Baynes)
CHA gets Hayward (they keep all their ballhandlers; still many bigs in FA market)
BOS gets Nader (absorbed into Poirier TPE), $27.9M TPE
Nader is like the rich man's Hayward so this is highway robbery by us.
Slick, if CHA wants off Zeller. Can CHA take Baynes back in an S&T in the same deal? Money would work.
Then Theis would be jelly of his boys reuniting in CHA without him.
Would Baynes agree to a starting salary of about $8M? 'Cos I don't think it can exceed that for both him and Hayward to fit into CHA's cap space.

He’s always hurt.

Why would we need another big anyway?
