you wouldn't want Robinson? you think we can get someone better or a better asset? You think we can keep Kyle less than 10 mil? Otherwise your Friday gif makes zero sense.

I don't think Stanley Johnson will be traded. Considering how terrible he was and that he makes 3.8M, we would have to attach at minimum a 2nd round pick for him. Also he is the Raptors only backup wing that has enough size to defend pf. I think it makes sense to keep him.

I was thinking maybe McCaw, Stanley and 2nd for Aminu. He’s making about 2 million more so maybe Magic will dig the savings. He has a non-guaranteed in the following year so he lines up.

hmm... I don't really get why we would do this trade. Aminu's contract has 20M over 2 years remaining. If anything, we should be the ones receiving a 2nd round pick for this transaction.

ONE second round pick and its a done deal for me. Great lowkey move, man.

Yeah scratch him off, thought next year was non-guaranteed but it isn’t so that’s a non-starter.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

I would pass on this trade even if it is one second round pick.

George Hill is obviously a big upgrade over McCaw but he's guaranteed 10M 2021-2022 season, he would take away minutes from Flynn, and we would also lose 2 guys that can defend SF.

This is almost like suggesting Hassan Whiteside so please forgive me but if you could trade Stanley and McCaw for Jabari Parker would you?

I would definitely consider it. I don't think Nurse would like his no defence style too much but he would bring something our team doesn't have.

I probably wouldn't accept it though because we would be looking really thin defensively at SF but I would not be mad with this trade.

edit: Jabari Parker is only 25 years old? I thought he was much older.

See how the team does until the trade deadline. If we are in the top 5, keep Lowry. If we are hovering around 7 or 8, I would see what we could get for him.

The main trade pieces are basically Lowry for Robinson... that is pretty bad value. I get the premise of the trade but we would at least need a pick coming back. Even with a pick, I would wait until the deadline to see how we are looking. If we look like we won't be competitive in the playoffs, I'd be open to the trade.

Yeah its a solid move. I'm fine with 2 second round picks. We'll have to attach one to get rid of Johnson's contract anyways.
That depth chart killed me tho loool, Thomas at SF. But thats a reason why i like the trade even more because Diallo can be OG's backup (instead of thomas).

We give up the best player by far, and the guy with the highest potential. For a 6'8" Matt Thomas? The guy is 1 dimensional, at a position we already have a young elite 3 and D guy. He's gonna play 10minutes a night, and you're gonna need defenders like Jimmy Butler and Bam to compensate for him.

What did CP3 just return in trade? Lowry on a cheaper expiring and younger should get a similar package.

Get some bloody late lottery to early twenty picks for Bobby and Masai.

Needless to say, I thought the Friday gif was on point.

Sounds great. Make a list of teams that can offer expirings and assets for Lowry. There isn't much out there. If we can get a young player with potential and/or multiple picks I'm all for it.

Do you work for the Raps? If so, this would be a great strategy:
Post terrible trade on message board, get passionate fans to mine salary permutations for hours in order to come up with viable trade options. Bring options to boss, clock out for the day.

Although, in reality, I'm sure IBM Watson knows exactly what expirings and picks are out there.

If I'm trading with Miami, I'm getting back Precious 100%. Plus, whatever 2nds they have over the next two drafts.

Actually, take Duncan and pass him on to a team that would over value him (Denver?). Get a late first for him. I wouldn't give up TD in the trade. Matt Thomas sure.

So, upon closer inspection, your value is only short their 1st this past year, a future 2nd and a swap out of our back up SGs.

That said, I'm pretty high on Achiuwa. I think he fits as a nice complement to Siakam and OG (and Giannis). No idea what our front office thinks of him.

Bjelica would be a nice get out of Sac Town.

Powell for Bjelica + 2021 Kings first round pick [lottery protected] + 2021 Kings second round pick + 2021 Grizzlies second round pick

You are not getting picks thrown on top. Straight up is the only way that happens. maybe a single 2nd.

Suggested earlier that McCaw + TD for Bjelica as a panic move.

Sacramento actually looked pretty competent when Fox was out and Bjelica was running the offense. Then Luke Walton does the most Luke Walton thing and goes away from it and starts losing again.

At least this gives us someone who knows what to do with the ball in the 2nd unit, outside of whoever our PG is and maybe Powell depending on where the wind blows.

San Antonio is actually a team that could offer expirings, picks and young players for Lowry. Not sure they would though.

Philly actually might have the pieces to get Lowry now the more I think about it.

Lowry + McCaw for Green, Curry, Scott, Thybulle + 2022 FRP + 2024 FRP

Gives us expirings (Green & Scott), a cheap rotation player (Curry), a young prospect (Thybulle) & picks. Lowry gets to go home and compete for a chip. Curry & Thybulle can be kept and still maintain the max spot if we dealt Powell for a pick. We could also trade TD II for another pick.

Vanvleet - Flynn
Thybulle - Curry
Anunoby - Thomas
Siakam - Brissett
(max contract) - Hernandez

FRP's - TOR 2021 - TOR 2022 & PHI 2022 - TOR 2023 - TOR 2024 & PHI 2024 - (FRP for Powell)
