I always thought if I'm gonna have entitled expectations from someone he has to at least agree, otherwise he has every right to tell me to roll up my expectations and shove them
Giannis accepted those expectations when he signed his contract. What a weird argument to make. Entitled in what way? The guy who's paid like the best player in the world shouldn't be expected to be the best player in the world?
Giannis is currently on a 4/100 contract. He has not signed the super max. Giannis is completely eclipsing anyone making the money he's making.
Giannis has accepted the role of superstar and needs to improve. But this idea that our playoff failures begin and end with him is just not the case. I'm willing to compare Giannis's rosters with that of any other superstar recently who's made the finals and I bet we'll conclude that their team's were better. Save for LeBron and well he's LeBron James.
He also has a giant contract with Nike, but you are right its not all on him. However there are plenty of posters who seem to think its completely on his supporting cast and that is also not true.
