They should have kept Covington... If they kept Covington would they have had enough to get Christian Wood? Because imo

Westbrook/Harden/House/Covington/Wood, with a bench of Gordon/Tucker

would've been a pretty freaking good team that seemingly begins to shore up the size issue they had, as Christian Wood obviously can play center better than Tucker and Covington.

A player has to be with the team for 4 years (and 8 years in the league) to qualify for a no-trade clause.

What is the FO supposed to do? Presenting them with such a question is almost loaded- it should go with out saying that A.) if your a top player and B.) your team is in really good condition, you simply aren't untradeable...

As far as letting players know first, who's to say they didn't make a genuine attempt before news breaks out. Leaks happen all the time. Most of them wrong, but these we tend to forget and take the Twitter bombs to be the first source of info.

I thought DA's defensive upside was off the charts coming out of UA. The way he moves his feet is incredible for a big man. He will for sure add a 3 ball and then it comes down to developing post moves to consistently get to the line. I hope this is the year he takes a huge leap forward.

20 points, 13 rebounds, 2 blocks per game would be nice. Hopefully, those extra points will come from 5 trips to the free-throw line instead of 2.7.

Maybe the refs finally give the Suns some love this season with our scrappy team playing like a top 5 defense.

Same, especially given how the NBA has become very reliant on switching. Ayton was never an eraser like a Gobert, but watching him switch onto wings and stay in front was the most eye-catching attribute he had defensively in college. He definitely improved last season, and he should continue to improve this season.

This is a smart structure because if they need a roster spot around the trade deadline/buy out market they can release him with little to no penalty.
