At the same time, here were our centers before Brook Lopez arrived:
John Henson
Greg Monroe
Miles Plumlee
Thon Maker
Tyler Zeller
For good measure, here were the PG's before we got Eric Bledsoe:
Jerryd Bayless
Greivis Vasquez
Matthew Dellevadova
Brandon Jennings
Jason Terry
Gary Payton, JUNIOR
Michael Carter Williams
Tyler Ennis
Brandon Knight
Jorge Gutierrez
Kendall Marshall
I'll stop now. But Bledsoe and Brook have been damn studs for us the past couple seasons. With Jrue you actually did upgrade, but at a massive price. Good luck with easily replacing what Brook does!

I just threw up in my mouth after reading this...let's not revisit this anymore.
PP, of course you’re partially correct, but I also think you have to remember that both Brook and Bledsoe were scrap heap reclamation projects when we got them. One was cut for Javale McGee and passed on by every team in the NBA, the other was available for Greg Monroe’s dead money and a protected pick. Granted, they both had more nba propers than most scrap heap acquisitions, but they were definitely trending down.
I think the system has a way of making guys look better than they are; during the regular season at least. Pumped out 4 all stars on a plucky but somewhat rag tag Atlanta team.
I don’t think either is irreplaceable. Brook getting destroyed defensively during the playoffs was concerning to say the least.
You ascribing extra value to these two simply because the previous administration and coach were completely terrible is misleading. On their own merits, they were quite good for us these past two years, but Tyler Zeller and Greivis Vasquez have nothing to do with that.
Please reconsider your animal consumption.
