Did you not see what the Bucks gave up for Jrue? CP3 is the better player and they got him for less
“Like Jrue” is not exactly Jrue.
Maybe throw up a suggestion there? What player “like Jrue” is available?
Schroeder?
2.37RPM
19-4-4 in 2019-2020 season
Only 26 years old (booker is 24)
Lakers gave danny green and some random guy selected with the 28th overall pick.
That could be a backcourt that would last more than 2 years.
Other options?
- Dinwiddie (surplus now Kyrie is back)
- George Hill (could mask Booker’s defense)
- Patty Mills (3.32 ORPM, double down on combo guards following Blazers footsteps; spurs would be thirsty for pick and oubre)
- DRose (expiring, pistons should be thirsty for your pick and oubre)
- Brogdon (shown ability to play lead PG; averaged 16-7-5; should be cheaper than CP3)
- Oladipo (they say he doesnt have value around the league, maybe a free roll move?)
- Maybe Caris LeVert (double down on combo guards like the Blazers)
Once booker is at his prime, 27-28 years old.
CP3 would be 38-40 years old.
What happens then?
The addition of Crowder and CP3 looks nice from the outside but if you dig deep like looking at the cheaper alternatives and if you do long term projections, it’s ugly.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.
