In the meantime, he still hasn't recovered fully from the effects of Covid 19. They'll still probably pick up that 4th year, but his trade value is way down, and because they have Birch, they might decide to trade Bamba.
He is the one player I trade Brown for - straight up of course. I guess it would need to be a multi-player trade? Brown and Wagner?
But I would much rather package Robinson, Wagner and a second - but I don't think that gets it done.
I'd need to get a future 1st back from Orlando if I'm trading Brown and Wagner for Bamba - especially with the question about Bamba's health. Maybe I give them a future 2nd if they relax the protections on the 1st.
I would not trade Brown for Bamba, though on the surface it looks to be more than fair. Probably irrational on my part.
The ideal basis for such a trade would be Robinson, of course -- if Orlando views Bamba as an under-performing high pick, then that's what they can expect to get back for him. Add Wagner, & it might get through the rinse cycle, who knows?
I don't like to trade picks, so I wouldn't add a R2 pick. But... I'd add Pasecniks... or Robin Lopez....
