I'm not the biggest DLo fan in the world, but on that team, I don't understand making him the 6th man. I wonder if it's just for the opener because it's Rubio and his history there. I have a feeling DLo will want out, and hell they may want him out, if they keep him out of the starting lineup while he's on that giant contract.
I don't know about wanting out. I think DLo is a nice sixth man but I'm guessing it was more of either trying it out or maybe he was late for practice or something. Personally I'd start Rubio and DLo, along with Okogie, Layman and Towns. Had Keita Bates Diop worked out,the defense of him and Okogie along with Rubio around DLo and Towns would have been nice.
Then you leave DLo or Rubio out there and stagger them with guys like Edwards, Culver, Juancho and Ed Davis.
I do like DLo with that group though and starting Rubio to give more D and DLo with more offense off the bench, at least until Edwards and Culver become better offensively.
Starting Beasley though with Rubio and DLo could work but then you don't have a ballhandler with the second unit unless you trust Culver to do that and maybe a bit of Edwards and maybe McLaughlin in the future.
But staggering DLo and Rubio would work the best after maybe starting them for a few minutes together.
I question the fit of their roster but they certainly have some firepower and could be a decent team this year.

That's what I figured though I still think he's a better 6th man than Rubio. But really is should be Beasley.
