No way I was suggesting Hunter or Huerter, who look like future pieces for the Hawks, while I'm not sure Reddish is really in their plans.

Other than to move him at some point.

And someone mentioned "Oh, they play him over Gallo".

Gallo is hurt and also is a pure PF at this point in his career.

Their organization seems to view that trio similarly, and though (at least) one will ultimately end up trade bait, none are players they seem in any rush to get rid of. Basically, I don't think any of them will be available for a prospect swap but any of them could be available in a trade that consolidates some of their pieces into a clear upgrade...and which ones they'd be willing to move would depend on that upgrade.

So unless we're selling RJ or Julius becomes a perennial Allstar contender...or we can weasel our way into a 3 team deal that gets them someone like Beal...we don't have the right kind of bait to steal any of their young wings.

I'd agree with that.

I mean, I know Hunter was best available, and Huerter a good value pick where they got him, but the Hawks, to me, sent a message not unlike the one Frank is getting, where they made a point of running out and signing a guard/SF in Bog Bog. Then again, they may view him like Knox, like a real 3/4 year project.

That's different. We put any garbage we could find in Frank's way, they just went crazy grabbing too many of the "best available" FAs because they panicked when Trae started talking about the playoffs.

If we can help facilitate a 3-way trade for harden to Boston at the deadline and we get back smart, that isn’t a bad idea at all as long as the cost is reasonable.

Smart, Mitch, RJ, Topping Quickley and our two 1st rounders and cap space... can get back to respectability quick.

Again, valid. It ties into my thought that they view Reddish as a longer term project and went for some "win now" wing help.

Which I can't disagree with, because they had a ton of youth with how the drafted, but at some point a team has to consolidate some of that, though they let a few lower drafted guys go etc.

I can see that too. I think it was purely panic about banking on the youth...as much because of Huerter's injury history as Reddish & Hunter still developing...rather than a specific mistrust of any single on of their wings, but what you're saying could totally be it too.

I do think Ja is really good but you and I part if you think 44 points in a blowout loss is anything to be all hot & heavy about with your silly taunting post.

Taunting??? I really want to know who else thinks this is taunting? Really man you always so sensitive.. you always replying on my post but don't want me to say anything that you may not like. Last post we went back and forth and you called it trolling. Im good.

Bro you win. +10000 for you... smh

Thanks. I do win because the Knicks could never is a taunt about something ridiculous. The Grizzlies lost the game handily.

Even Ja would pick a W and 12 points over his backboard dunk. So yeah you’re wrong.

Wow you read minds? Amazing... Basketball is entertainment.. don't forget that buddy. Ja many dunks clearly disagree with you. And since you don't know basketball is was clearly a put back dunk from being caught up in the air.

Knicks apparently needed Noel/Burks/Rivers a LOT more. :D

It’s very rare that you see good young guys entering their peak switch teams. The last 2 years there have been a handful and we passed on them (except for Randle).

Maybe we couldn’t have gotten the rest of them, wish we knew if there was serious interest and we just got rebuffed.

How long will they keep paying everyone but a PG?

My guess is this year we sign Oubre & trade for Lavine b/c we love to sign quasi starters who will be thrust into roles they aren’t meant to play.

Richardson really getting to show off more of his game with this Carlisle offense. Perfect fit.

WCS still not anywhere near as impactful as he was at KY

They do this a lot. Come out in a flurry, take their foot off the gas and lose the game in crunch time. Not sure they’ve learned how to keep these big leads.

KG - your boy Brunson making some great plays. Saved a turnover off a bad pass by THJ and turned it into a 3. Then hit a jumper then set up WCS for the for an alley

Then a tough layup then another midrange jumper.

Haven’t seen this Brunson since his rookie year

We need to sell high on Julius. Would like to see him in a playoff contending team.
