That was general observation, not entirely based on this particular game thread.

He had 1 more point, 3 more rebounds ( two of which were double offensive rebounds after own miss). Vucevic had 1 more assist, 1 more steal, 3 more blocks, 2 less turnovers, 1 less fouls and twice as good +/-.

Cavaliers not even bothered to defend Gordon most of the time while Vucevic hitting some crazy shots and even driving to the rim. You can even see Gordon being beating off the dribble and Vucevic covering him on defense ( rarely happens, but we talk about this game). When you watch the film its not even close.

Btw Vucevic was better than Gordon. Gordon hit some catch and shoots 3s, did his usual dumb shots and turnovers and was good on defense while Vucevic did everything on offense while having his best defensive game of the year. Numbers are better with Vucevic, eye test was better with Vucevic, clearly AG vest as usual.

Gordon also had 6 offensive rebounds and was a double-double player this game. I think it is the rebounding and 3-ball that is why Gordon will win this over Vučević.

He had 6 offensive rebounds becouse he rebounded of misses of his offensive rebounds. Dont get me wrong he had a great game, second best player tonight on our team.

at the 9 minute mark of the 3rd Q, we were down 53-54, AG made our next 5 FGs (3 3pters), only other score was the Tec Vuc made.
Score was 67-59 at the end of that run.

THAT is why AG gets the vest.

I meant it more as an explanation of why I think people vote a certain way, rather than how you should approach who you think made the best contribution on any given game was.

FWIW I think AG's outside shooting won us this particular game, which is why I voted for him.

AG caught fire at the right time and, outside of getting burned my Cedi Osaman in the first, played good defense and well deserving of the vest. but I thought Vooch did a good job on Drummond. Over the course of the game he had three blocks, 2 steals, knocked the ball out of AD's hands a couple times in the post. Easily should have more votes than he does. AG wasn't THAT much better it was just more memorable because he rarely ever gets that hot especially from 3 and his timing was impeccable.

Right, that is what I am saying. Evan had a great game couple of weeks ago and didn't get the vest (it is co-shared, but whatever). This thread is more indicative of where we are as fans, pushing agendas or personal favorites, instead of celebrating that our team has won the game.

The simple answer is: No. It is Nikola Jokić. But one would have to say that Vučević has been the best Easter Center. Some might argue for Embiid, but I think the Magician's ridiculous 3-ball stat line is a tie-breaker for me.
