Cam Johnson, picked at Wolves #11 spot we trade up out of. 42% attempting over 6+/g threes now. He was only 39% on 4 to 5 attempts last year. He's getting better, and probably should get more of those shots. Surprising because he's only gotten 50 attempts so far this year. But Malik Beasley has only gotten 47 attempts at threes so far with starts (less than 6/g). A guy that was attempting over 8/g at 42% for us last year.

Just shows you how completely wrong end up our offense is right now.

To be fair, nobody expected Cam Johnson to go #11 in the 2019 draft. Was a surprise back then but the Suns got it right.
He can shoot, can defend, plays the two forward positions. Hes only coming off the bench because of Crowder but hes such a nice piece to have around your main players.

Of course now the big picture says that we gave Saric and #11 (Cam) for Culver. And that doesnt look good.

He also is going to be 25 years old in two months. I mean, he has been good, they got that right, but his ceiling isn't much more than he currently is. Is interesting what Phoenix is going to do moving forward, with Paul and Booker making 75M next season, Crowder an Saric 20M more, and Ayton and Bridges wanting extensions.
They actually are in a ideal scenario on that...

Ayton and Bridges extensions kick off when Chris Paul comes out of the books.

That's not true. I suggested him at #11 before Wolves traded the pick. I wasn't the only one that saw him as one of the options.

They will be fine when they trade Booker here.

I thought Bey would be a lot better though he is an older rookie turns 22 soon, he’s been meh so far.

Not watching but LaMelo almost has a triple double in 22 minutes of run.

Detriot would probably have beaten the wolves if they didnt play Hayes.

I remember when Lonzo got drafted. Magic talked about him like he was second coming. In Summer league (in which he was mediocre) every time he did anything the crowd was ooing and awwing and going nuts. He's got some skills but Lavar sold everyone a bill of goods lol.

I understand it's early, but Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer looks awfully foolish for having Hayes as his top draft prospect.

They all have to make the transition from where they were to the NBA level. After the transition test, then comes whether or not they can do more.

Wiggins started at 19. He didn't get any better on the run to 25 today. In fact he might be worse than he was as a rookie. I would say often that I would prefer someone starting at 21-22, hopefully having shed some of their kandyas kiddie shells by then.

Nobody going to say it?
After the disaster three first games, Andrew Wiggins is playing really well... Very efficient, shooting 40.5% from three

Still worthy of his contract? NO.

He hit a big 3 down the strech last game, but he was atrocious the first half with the sans Curry lineup, and nothing special along Curry neither. Kerr sitted him in the second bench stint for Bazemore, who was great and carved the Warriors out of the hole (along Curry and to lesser extent Pascal).
