At this pace, I'm not so sure going with MPJ was the right decision. He was a big part of their defense and a good system player. MPJ is obviously a huge mid-FRP catch, but his game is basically iso shooting, and he's obviously a defense liability who makes Jokic even worse.
At least DET has something to feel alright about.
Yeah I’m happy for the guy, who took a different form of betting on yourself. Hope he can keep it up. People want to rip him for leaving a winning team, but I can understand why he didn’t want to just stand in a corner and play defense when he feels he’s capable of more.
As for Denver, I’d try to move MPJ ASAP. They have a good young team, why risk it on this guy with such an injury history? I don’t know what offers they are getting for MPJ, but I’d look into what type of semi-star you could get for him.
