Context matters. Vuc is shooting almost all of his 3s completely wide open and undefended (4.3 attempts a game) because teams are willing to give him the shot instead of in the paint.
When Vuc is defended his %s are still as subpar as they’ve always been.
Are you knocking him and the coaching for taking mostly open 3s? Isn't that the idea of the sport?
HE"S GETTING 4.3 OPEN LOOKS AT 3s and killing it!
No, I’m saying it’s not that impressive when the rest of his offensive game (16 OTHER fgas) he’s one of the lowest ranked TS high volume players - and he’s a C.
Vuc’s 3pt shooting when a defender is just 4-6ft close to him drops down to 32% on 1.8 attempts a game. That’s what will happen if teams decide to respect Vuc’s shooting more.
On this pic alone, Bojan and Paul have worst TS%.
Most centers still don't shoot, you have zion on pic, and he took around 155 of 177 shots inside 10 feet. There was period of time when Deandre Jordan led league in true shooting percentage and FG% because odds are, if you never take anything but dunk, you won't miss many of those shots.
You cherrypick a lot when it comes to trying to trash Vuc at every angle you got. Why don't you mention stats of Gordon and his shooting? How about starting PG and his? or starting PF and his?
"Vuc is not that great"....compared to ...Steph Curry and Duncan Robinson?

"Gorodn, defenetly great year"... yet to crack top 70 in scoring, top 100 in efficiency or top 100 in any category worth talking about.
I don't want to start fights with you, done fair share of it in past, but Vuc is very good at making 3s for a center, matter of fact best in the league. Being "best " at something is very hard in proffesional league.
You try to disscredit him by saying "but his shot worst when defender got closer" , yeees, but he also makes most of his shots when he is wide open, and that's execlly right time to take those shots. Players SHOULD NOT take shots when they are heavily contested.
Vuc made more wide open 3s at better sucess rate ( much better) than Gordon; Cole Anthony, Bacon and Clark
combined.
Why don't you invest time into talking how trully awful they are insted on focusing to cherrypick and angling how "it's not as good as it sounds" when in facts it is. Guy literally made 45 of 95 threes wide open. Fultz, in full season made 30 in 107 attempes ( 28%) .
I can find your old posts, where you soul and xat were busting your nuts ons 12 ppg /36,5% for 3 of Brook Lopez while never taking anything but wide open 3s.
Now, when Vuc is way better than that, you are angling " well actually it's not that good". Shut up, it is. Vuc is fine. Vuc's biggest downfall is that he is loyal to a team that tried to find his replacment 3 times and failed each time drafting or signing complete busts.
