He’s not solid defensively though. He’s constantly gambling and out of position. Lonzo is a good defender and much more reliable in executing the team defense that Draymond is quarterbacking.
He def gambles but his length is huge and he changes shots and snags rebounds Lonzo wouldn’t.
Oubre is ideal as a small ball 4.
The problem is he kills the offense because of how dumb he is.
If Lonzo plays with the Warriors, who is going to shoot on this team? Curry, an inconsistent shooter in Wig leaving wide open Lonzo/Draymond?

The team needs a reliable 3 point shooter that can defend.
Oubre is a difference maker on defense. He makes mistakes on both ends of the court but his rare athleticism can affect a game positively to such an extent that it far outstrips the negative impact of his mistakes. And when he has a game where he doesn't make any mistakes like against Dallas we can blow out the competition.
So no to trading Oubre because his talent gives our team the potential to make the kind of noise in the playoffs we would never have a chance to make with anybody we could trade him for.
If Kerr can reorient the team to his version of Nellieball and it flips the switch for Oubre(and Draymond) we can win a championship.
