melo You think he should get his jersey retired at MSG?
I know this question might crash the servers but F it.

Of course he should. Gave the Knicks the most success since the 90’s. The guy is still a Knick at heart. He tried to recruit KD and Kyrie for us when he didn’t have to. Even worked with Randle last off season and tried to teach him moves. Melo is a NY legend

No, his time here just wasn’t that good.....
On the low Randle might have a better Knicks career than Melo when it’s all said and done (and I assume we keep Randle after this contract)

Lavine can shoot and play off the ball, much easier to envision him playing within a team concept with better players around him.
His scoring efficiency is Curry/LeBron level this year. Westbrook is bottom of the league for his usage.

It's a possibility but I think we should let Randle play a single playoff game before we compare him to Melo, as a Knick let alone in general. Melo was an All-NBA player, regardless of his flaws. Randle has a whole organization desperately pushing for him to make his first All-Star appearance on a team with a losing record.

Look at how much shots are off the ball. The amount of open looks he’ll get next to Randle would be insane.
