Well yeah he doesn't have the handles of an Irving or even a Fultz type of PG but as a 6'8 PG that can shoot, drive and overpower smaller PGs sent to stop him? He is very good. Cade can lead a team as its general, directing traffic and scoring. If he can't blow by the quicker guards he will shoot over them.
I don't think he's a point guard at all in the NBA.
He feels much more like a big wing who can pass, not a lead guard.
For me, he is in the mold of Ben and Luka.. big dudes that can direct a team. Thus you can have your PG be a scoring guard instead of a distributor. Its understandable though if other people have different views on him.
Cade is the lead ball handler. Call him a SF if you want, like Doncic or Lebron, but the team that gets him will be able be able to play without a traditional (small) PG and create huge size advantages on both sides of the court.
