Did you think my GS deal was a solid offer?
I mean we don't know the specifics for the Pacers, but I would have Oubre/Wiseman a serious offer in terms of value definitely. You certainly weren't trying to just steal him.
Oubre/Wiseman is probably fair-ish value, but not at all fit for Indy.
The overall problem is that GS just doesn't have other ways to make value. Draymond is a guy we'd love in terms of fit and attitude at the 4/5 next to Sabonis, but GS isn't dealing him. Minnesota pick is nice value, but Indy has not traded a guy for a future pick since the 80's. We just don't own other team's firsts, except for on the clock for a specific player. Paschall plus every other smaller piece isn't nearly enough. And, in terms of fit, if we're dealing Turner, it's because we want a fit at the 4 next to Sabonis that other teams envision we should want, and Wiseman isn't that either, and would still complicate our roster. He's just nowhere near a perimeter focused defending 4.
