I still don't understand how two-way contracts work? :noway:

If we have to cut someone I think Chiozza.

Kyrie/Harden/Dinwiddie can handle the ball handling duties.

TLC can still be a big body to use for defense sometimes. Jordan we could need for the right matchup like a Drummond.

I'm not sure if cutting a two-way is suffice for activating Dinwiddie to the 15?

I could be wrong, but I think you have to cut someone from the 15 to activate Dinwiddie?

Bro I have no idea. Someone let us know

All I know is, if there are any close games in the post season that come down to the last shot for the Nets, and you have to expect that at some point, probably more than once if we do indeed make a title run, of the BIG 3 the last guy I want with the ball in his hands and taking the last shot is Kyrie.

IMO Kyrie is a GREAT TALENT, reminds me of Isaiah Thomas, THE GREAT ISAIAH THOMAS, with one big difference ... Isaiah LOVED basketball and hated to lose even more than he loved winning, which is true of all the great ones, that's why EVERYTHING mattered to them like playoff seeding and winning seemingly meaningless games in March like it was Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

The GREAT ONES, Isaiah included, would have damn near killed you to win a pick-up game at the Rucker much less an NBA Game, any NBA Game, not just a Playoff Game. But all of the basketball assassins were like that; MJ, Russell, Kareem, Julius, Magic, Larry, Hakeem, Shaq, Kobe, Reggie Miller, Isaiah and you name it.

Probably the only one who didn't have that killer instinct was Wilt, which breaks my heart because IMO he is the greatest talent and player to ever step foot on a basketball court, but he was a gentle giant who admittedly should have won more championships despite the staggering numbers he posted. But even minus that killer instinct, not only did he never miss a game ... HE NEVER MISSED A SECOND ... except in one game, ONLY ONE, and that's because he was ejected in the 4th Qtr, before he could play all 48 minutes as always. In fact he never even fouled out of a game either! So compared to Kyrie he was a serial killer on the basketball court.

Anyway, I want an assassin taking the last shot in the biggest games. That means KD or Harden.

In fact try not to even put the ball in Kyrie's hands because you may never get it back.

I don't know if he loves basketball. Apparently not. But he sure as hell loves HERO BALL.

Cavaliers vs Warriors, NBA Finals. Game 7. June 19, 2016:

You hate Kyrie. I get that. But if you're going to write stuff like this, at least be factual.

Alot of things you can criticize Kyrie for. not embracing the big moments or taking/making the big shots is certainly not one of them. He has taken big shots for this team all this year and last year and for the most part hit them. Hell our last close game he hit 2 HUGE daggers:

Kyrie hits huge shot to put nets up, then hits huge dagger to seal it

And we remeber his game winner last year vs the knicks too

Then i mean, there was this game, which is just all-time insane clutchness:

Then there is the laundry list of huge shots he hit as a celtic/Cav

And then there is the fact that you know, he hit the biggest shot of all time

As great as Harden is, the one tiny criticizm as he has had some momoent late in the game or in a game 7 where he didnt come through. KD has been clutch, but not to Kyrie's level. From the small sample this year, Kyrie has been the guy to go to for big shots. The clippers game he did the work down the stretch. thats probanly the best example in a big game vs a great team that was close.

Kyrie doesnt shy from the moment can score vs great D. Durant is there too cause at 7 feet he can get his shot vs everyone.

Regardless of who takes that shot, saying Kyrie is either A) not clutch or B) shys away from the moment is absurd.

-He was clutch pre-lebron in cleveland
-He was clutch with lebron on the biggest stage
-He was super clutch in boston
-he has been clutch here

Also, when talking about being clutch, alot of the focus is on the game winner/last second shots. But kyrie has also been huge with keep games close, but shots to tie or take leads earlier in the 4th. or turning close games that are 2-4 points into blowouts by going on a 12 point run by himself

Give me claxton or DJ as this teams starting center. the rim rolling big makes such a huge difference for us.

No doubt but it's nice to have options in case we need a counter vs. X playoffs team. LA gave us that option which is now gone.

Is it the end of our title hopes? Of course not, but definately another bump along the road.

DJ and Clax are very limited outside the paint(Maybe Clax can develop more confidence in his J with more experience but it is not there today.)

Our best rotation as of today:

Harden/Kyrie/Harris/KD/DJ
Johnson/Shamet/Green/Griffin/Clax

We have the option to go small ball with Green/KD/Griffin at the 5 if DJ is sucking.

Also, there are rumors Dinwiddie is getting really CLOSE to coming back which would be SICK.

I dont think its gone at all. Blake can certainly be 90-100% of the stretch 5 LMA was. he has the post game, the post passing. His 3 point shooting is a notch below, but he can hit them for sure. I also think he is a better rim protector with the charges he takes

With 4 shooters i dont want our big outside the paint. i want him creating space for those shooters by forcing attention to the paint.

Ive seen enough Alize Johnson to think that we need him in the playoff rotation. I LOOOOVE what bruce brown has given us but if he needs to sit for johnson i do it. johnson is that bulldog we need. bigger/stronger then brown and a slightly better defender. you dont lose a ton on offense with the swap. love that we signed him to a guaranteed deal.
