He was stringing together good games here too recently before being traded. Look like him and Tristan just had a really slow start to the season. I'm still down for PP getting his minutes so glad they let him go.

My guess is Teague asked to be traded. His salary wasn't really needed in the trade. I don't buy this idea that Ainge trades players to force the coach to play other players. I'm guessing Teague was unhappy that PP developed so fast and took the minutes he thought he was going to get. Then he probably heard through the grape vine that the Bucks would take him. So Ainge has to weigh slightly helping the Bucks vs having an unhappy player- possible downtick in team moral- and possibly making it harder to sign vets in the future.

I'd bet a lot of teams say to guys like Teague, "sign with us and if it's not a good fit we will help you out."

Pretty wild that a few months ago we were sweeping Philly. They really do look legit this year, but I’ve been fooled by them before.

Embiid is easily beaten in the playoffs and also he will probably get injured again anyway, it's his defining feature—broken. When is the last time a team that relied on post foul-drawing won in the playoffs? Embiid ain't Shaq and Simmons ain't Kobe. Sixers are paper tigers. Embiid will be broken down or the refs won't call all those fouls for him. And then just stop Curry and Green from raining threes and you win. I'd be more worried about the Nets who can just beat you with impossible, unguardable shooting. If KD/Kyrie/Harden are all 100 pct, they just shoot over and around you and gg, have a nice offseason. Giannis is easily guarded in the playoffs too. Just hold him tight until the fourth and then he can't hit contested jumpers and it's over.

Who else is a threat in the East? Heat are trash and Tyler Herro is a crappy player that everyone wants for no reason. Who else? Hawks? Just go at the tiny PG and gg ez. Refs don't call all those cheap fouls in the playoffs that he relies on. Celtics are built for the playoffs. Their entire game is built around taking awful, tough shots that you get in the playoffs. They don't foul-bait. Their core players are rounding into form as the season is ending. Let's go, etc. Another ECF inbound so we can all bitch about how the Celtics, despite having the most playoff wins in the last five years, are just terrible and they should hire Ricky Davis to be the head coach.

Honestly, it's hard not to be impressed by the Knicks. They're a really stout team this year. They play with no fear.

They give me big 2016 Celtics vibes. Randle owned KP too.

This is pretty funny:

Tyler Herro has the most punchable face in the league, hands down. I'm happy he's having a terrible season.

They finally seem to be building a culture worth Free Agency consideration. Big problems if so.

Most punch-able face - Trae,

Most punch-able person maybe Herro. (Kyrie says hello)

OK only one game but Memphis crushing the Bucks at home makes me feel good. X Tillman and D Bane were solid. 7-10 for X and 6-10 +3-5 for Bane.

The Bucks don't scare me at all.

People in the general board have been calling for curry's head for a year. Things like curry exposed, he doesn't win etc.

That dude at 33 years of age in the only reason gsw are not going for the first pick this year. He's carrying a bunch of scraps to the playoffs.

I love Smart but I often wonder how good Julius randle would have been in Boston. Seeing him blossom on the Knicks... he would have done that in Boston and probably a lot earlier in his career

Are the hawks and Knicks going to lose a game again?

**** scrub ass Lonzo Ball let the Knicks score a wide open three with 2 seconds when he played the fake drive into the paint attempt by Derrick Rose...

Nets are our next opponent on Thursday after Bulls. Unsure if Harden will be available for that.

I am bad luck.

I tune in to the end of the Knicks game. Pelicans crash & Knicks come back to win in OT.
I tune in to the end of the Heat game. Kyrie chucks away the game, Nets blow a lead & Bam hits a buzzer beater.
And I watched the end of the Hawks game & of course they won also.

They have yet to do that and they actually have 2 days off before the Suns game (a rarity this year). Get the win at home against the Suns and don't worry about Brooklyn

Return to Boston Celtics
