Hes literally only played meaningful minutes in one game. I'd rather give just about any young player a shot over Biyombo, so I'm not arguing he shouldn't be getting an opportunity or anything, but if your take is that after one game Carey is definitely serviceable and his defense doesn't matter at all, then I really don't know what to say. Zeller has had 20/6 games before...
we've been out here running lineups where bridges was the tallest guy on the court because biz and cody couldn't hang and PJ was in the dog house.
biyombo can't even catch and go up without an entire arena being in awe but this dude is out here playing better defense with 5 fouls than cody does on his best nights this year. teams get away with ignoring an entire position when they play us.
take away the fadeaways, the drives that started from the 3pt line, and even say he continues with the same foul rate. all the exceptional things that are gonna stand out tonight. just bottom out all expectations - he's still better than biz because the hands are there, he can move his feet, and demand a body be put on him because he locates easy buckets under the rim.
we legit expect biz to fail at things any starting center should be able to do on a regular basis and have completely normalized that. biyombo shouldn't be seeing more than 10 minutes a night anywhere in the league. i don't know how any turns their nose up after this...
