3 days rest will be nice coming into this game, but honestly who even cares anymore? This team is exactly 1 month away from summer vacation and hopefully a massive overhaul

Should be an easy win, but this team have been losing to a bunch of scrubs lately.

HOU, SAS, KINGS.. all easy wins, but it's Mavs. You never know if you'll get a 45% 3pt shooting team or 30%. It's a coin toss before each game :D

S.Bey yesterday 6 3s in a win. Green 2 3s made in 284 minutes. And even, if we count Green's G-league too, it's still 6:5 for Bey. Green's % 11.8 in Nba and 17.6% in G-league. Bey 38% with 132 3s made. Great job Donnie.

But Bey doesnt have ties to Europe or Australia/NZ, these are the only things Donnie Nelson knows about.

Why bother with skill and fit when you can look at where a person hails from?

I believe they just overanalysed and put to much emphasis on how to improve D. That might be logical for getting Richardson but totally illogical for drafting Green. He was even in the best case scenario years away from serious contribution, they should have taken the best player available.

Every scout and analyst had Bey higher than Green. And the ones that truly know how to do their job also had Bane higher. But we have Donnie.

Without Cuban's interferance, you'd have Giannis before that. Without Donnie, you wouldn't have Luka and Brunson. He made stupid draft mistakes but when there were stars to be drafted, he found them. I guess?

Actually getting Luka to Dallas was also done by his agent. Donnie thanked him for this during the welcome press conference. He didnt like his Euro wonder landing under Sarver, forget Vlade and the Kings. The Hawks GM was so new he didnt have team capital as much as Donnie to F up and keep his job. Naturally it makes daddy's boy Donnie look real good considering it was Don Nelson who pulled a lot of strings to get him that gig.

JRich and Kleber out

What do you think?

Portland lost again. If Mavs didn't have these stupid losses against bad teams in the past weeks, they could have been chasing the 4th spot. Lakers at 5th are only 4 games away now.

And tomorrow they're playing the Nuggets on the road B2B w/o Lillard and Nurk.
The crazy thin about all of this, the next 3 games Mavs are playing the Pistons and LBJ/AD-less Lakers twice, 3 wins and they're at 5th spot.

I'm going by this
https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/262319/Anthony-Davis-Building-Up-Conditioning-For-Return-LeBron-James-Still-Weeks-Away

Another schedule coincidence, Mavs rivals at 6 and 8, Blazers and Grizzlies are going at each other for 2 games while Mavs are playing the Lakers.
If RC can get them to toughen up, nothing was really lost.

hope so.. i think its reasonable at this point to try something else.. sticking to whats not working would cost more games.

Good thing Carlisle, Brunson, Powell, and Nelson are all untouchable.

Luka needs to bail ASAP
