But Bey doesnt have ties to Europe or Australia/NZ, these are the only things Donnie Nelson knows about.
Why bother with skill and fit when you can look at where a person hails from?

But Bey doesnt have ties to Europe or Australia/NZ, these are the only things Donnie Nelson knows about.

I believe they just overanalysed and put to much emphasis on how to improve D. That might be logical for getting Richardson but totally illogical for drafting Green. He was even in the best case scenario years away from serious contribution, they should have taken the best player available.

Every scout and analyst had Bey higher than Green. And the ones that truly know how to do their job also had Bane higher. But we have Donnie.

Without Cuban's interferance, you'd have Giannis before that. Without Donnie, you wouldn't have Luka and Brunson. He made stupid draft mistakes but when there were stars to be drafted, he found them. I guess?
