I do not love the sight of Melo messing with that wrist in the background.

Winners are grinners - and it's nice to finally be grinning once again.

Did the broadcast crew say anything about when they expect any of the injured players to return? I don't like that we're still hearing crickets about Monk.

Miles wasn't messing around when he said "bet" on Twitter a year or so ago when someone said we should've picked SGA.

No, no, and NO! The losing mentality for this franchise, especially with LaMelo, just isn't it. We have the players...and we actually have the coach. This isn't the Bobcats, this is the Hornets.

I don't think we have a choice, if you notice lol

We aren't winning many games left with Hayward/Ball/Monk out. We got thumped by Chicago of all teams and are currently struggling against a tanking Cleveland team

If we tank, it wouldn’t be on purpose. But imagine a top 4 pick to go along with LaMelo? That’d help me get over it fast.

Yes, it would be cool. But I was originally a sole Lakers fan until 2004. The losing isn't what's up. It's time to win. We've been doing this for almost 20 years now. I was 13 when I became a Bobcats/Hornets fan.

Coach Borrego three days ago said that his activity is "very minimal right now." It has been three weeks since the injury, and may be three more yet. When you partially tear ligaments in your ankle, it is pretty serious. They do not heal quickly. I had thought perhaps this was a grade 1 sprain, but now it looks more like grade 2, which can take six weeks' recovery time.

He was dressed and shooting during warm ups Vs the Bulls the other night - and looking good doing it.

I was hoping that might be a good sign for him being back sooner rather than later.

Good to hear that. I asked about Hayward earlier. Has he been with the team lately?

Gordo was on the bench during last nights game.

He really has been the forgotten guy though (compared to the coverage there has been on Malik and especially LaMelo).

We really need his leadership, even if it's only sitting on the sidelines. It's crucial with such a young group. When he does come back, it will also make a huge difference at both ends of the court.

Crossing my fingers hoping we get both Monk and LaMelo back by the 1st.

I was hoping Devonte would get his fg% and 3pt% both up to at least 39% by the end of the season, but now hes on the verge of both dropping below 37%.

With most players, that would be a sign he would soon be looking for "opportunities overseas." Cody Martin, that well-known sharpshooter, is actually hitting 44.7% overall.
