He still has the not showing up for training camp card. Max fine is $50k a day, that's a lot but even if he takes it to the extreme and skips all of camp that's about 40 days so $2mil total. He could then show up the Monday before week 1 and he's then getting his base salary and not required to pay back his signing bonus. The stunt would cost him about 2 game checks, a price he might be willing to pay to make a point. He’s playing one of his last cards now because the draft is his best chance of being traded.
I don’t really have a side because no one is blameless but Aaron is making it difficult to root for him right now.
