I also noticed that there were a very few replays of Memphis` fouls.
PS the reversed call on Draymond`s foul on Ja was also interesting - Draymond clearly pushed Ja by his left hand while keeping his right hand demonstrably vertical. On replay it should be obvious to officials. For some reason, it wasn`t so apparent.
GS's defense & Green's effectiveness is directly tied to how loose a whistle the officials give him, it's why he's always barking at the refs for that advantage.. Refs have their tactics in how to control a game.. Green was allowed to foul while also getting rewarded for 2 flops, one on Jonas who was dominating the paint early & Brooks who erased the GS 17pt lead for a Memphis 2pt lead.. In the Sacramento thread an hour before the game, I pointed this all out. Knew if a Memphis player (I was thinking JV's size advantage in the post) were to get hot & a problem for GS, they'd foul him out. Just happened to be Brooks in this case who was ejected on you guessed it, a Green flop with Memphis taking a 2pt lead.. Impeccable timing to pick up a cheap foul wouldn't you agree? With Brooks now removed, Memphis had none to cover Curry who iced the game.. Their BS is in plain sight, people just don't care to acknowledge it because they will be branded a sore loser, same purpose behind calling people conspiracy theorist, don't question my authority. Do as I say & like it or I'll brand you a nut.
It's true Memphis really didn't play the game they needed too but hard fact, Dillon was Memphis only answer for Curry & he was fouled out on a weak call after he helped Memphis take the lead... Look at the Pacers/Cavs first round playoffs, Oladipo was fouled out first Q of game 2 after he helped Pacers beat Cavs game 1..... Cavs won game 2 by one possession, think having Oladipo first half would have made a difference?.
It may look to some like I'm complaining but I laid this all out in the Sacramento thread an hour before the game. In every loss Memphis has had to GS, this is how they've officiated the game. A small team & Green is allowed to play defense by fouling to nullify Memphis size advantage in the post, while being reward with soft calls, where the other team can't play as physical.. see Dillon's cheap fouls. GS had their Dillon in the game but the refs were allowing him to foul..
In the games Memphis beat GS, you'll notice the difference is Green is being called for those same fouls he gets away with in their wins..
