He always raises his game towards the end of a season and then peaks in the playoffs

I'm pulling for MEM to make the playoffs, playoffs JV was the most entertaining Raptor until we got Kawhi

I'm rooting for him against the Warriors tonight. The warriors are gonna try and play him off the floor by attacking him on the pick and roll so hopefully he's gonna be ready for that

Memphis treats Jonas as an afterthought just like the Raptors did. It's too bad. 15/10 at the half and he comes out and hits their first two shots in the second half and basically never sees the ball again as everyone bricks incessantly. selfish team.

JV hard carried for a while but their whole team can't shoot outside of Bane and maybe JJJ

I mean last I checked he was scoring20% more ppm than deroxan was. So he gets opportunities. I do remember Casey and the raptors freezing him out a lot.

I was going to say that's because JV is way more efficient than Demar but I just went and looked at the numbers and was amazed to see how much more efficient Demar has gotten these past two years. As a Raptor his TS% was anywhere from .503 (very poor) to .555 (average) and his median was around .535 which was pretty bad. But in his two years as a Spur his TS% has been .603 and .591 so a vast improvement and now almost elite. What a difference good coaching makes! And obviously Demar has been willing to evolve so props to him. Averaging 6.9 assists a game too. wow.

As for JV he gets a lot of his points fighting for offensive boards and tip ins. He went 12-15 last game and the rest of the team shot about 33% in a crucial game they lost. I will never understand why you don't give the only guy who is scoring in a key game a bigger load.
