Yeah, apparently, since the Jazz double Jonas, he's like not DPOY caliber or something.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure his confidence is fine. Not sure if he regained it after his fourth block, 13th board, or 21st point.

Bro he's from Canada everyone's nice this is fake
Canadians are nice. Brooks didn't get the memo.

That was the big step he had made this year, playing to the rhythm of the game. Right now he is not doing that, you can tell when he has decided he is going to try and crank one up on a play, and he is missing open players quite a bit. It's fine, though, I really think it's just about building up that on-court awareness after a long layoff.
Memphis is really fantastic. I think they have something with Ja-Brooks-Val that is pretty fun, and a healthy JJJ will really help out. What they need now is a long-term answer as a second wing. They should also hold onto Anderson long term, let him play the Joe Ingles role off the bench (which, I'd really love to have him in Utah, he'd be a perfect fit).

Agreed on Mitchell, he’s still a great player with his shotmaking to go along with that strength and balance.
We are going through the same thing with JJJ. Him being out for 60 games was a killer.
Man, how perfect of a fit is Conley for you guys? He looked as good as ever on offense

More people need to see this play.
The difference in this series could be whether or not the refs pay attention to all of Brooks’ off-ball bumping, shoving, pushing, and all-around BS.
I admire how hard he plays, but garbage like this is the difference between a scrappy guy who becomes a good player in this league and a trash dirty player who gets no respect from the real ballers.
If he keeps acting like this, he’ll quickly be untouchable.

That video is overblown to me. He jabs him to make Conley think he’s pushing off as he shoots to the rim.... Conley doesn’t bite, so then DB does it again and gives a little shove as he goes.
Players do that every possession.

You may be right. I may be wrong. I’ll let people decide who watch the video.
In the best case, most generous interpretation, it is just another example of Brooks doing a lot of off-ball shoving and pushing. He does it really smartly and effectively most of the time, but it’s illegal. Good officiating will foul him out 80% of the time.

He is one of the most frustrating players for me to watch. Even though I love the guy’s game, his shot selection is just crazy sometimes. But I think him no longer being asked to be the #2 guy would be huge.
I’ve said it a few times this year, but a JJJ/Ingram swap this summer would be very interesting. A wing scorer and true #2 scorer like Ingram to go along with Ja would be very interesting to see.
