Let's hope you're wrong. This is the best time to prove he deserves that fat contract and don't turn into another Allen Crabbe.

Let's pray Joe goes for 7/8 on 3's for G6. I will forgive him if he delivers. Need just one game from him this series. Just one game.

He looks tired. His jumpers are all short. He doesn’t have his legs and he played a lot of minutes in this series. He also shoots worse on the road. Idk If he will hit his shots. But I think they need to get him some layups to get him going.

Shout out to HardenGoat for picking up the dice and keeping us all from losing our money.

Also, let me once again state how much it meant for us to have James Harden go out there on one leg last night. He shot terrible and was clearly out of rhythm but those 8 assists and 6 rebounds he grabbed were huge. This man waved off a double team and forced Giannis into a game deciding fade away brick. James Harden is the **** ing man.

The guy didn't have to play. The Nets DIDN'T want him to play. He did this for the team, himself, and us the fans. Have some appreciation for this guy. Him being out there, even on one leg is enough to keep Jrue Holiday out of the plays on the Bucks defensive possessions. I don't know what he can give us going forward, but it means the world to me as a fan of this team to see this guy do what he did last night. He cares. After years of seeing dudes come in and out of here and not giving a damn about this team and us the fans, it makes me happy to know that this guy wants to be here and he actually wants to win.

Now, do I want him to do this again? No, I do not. He clearly cannot push off on his right leg without fear of hurting himself. I don't want him to risk further injury.

It is sobering, but until he can play without that hamstring flaring up, and until Kyrie's ankle heals, we have a severe uphill climb here. Our championship hopes are probably not happening this year, but regardless, I appreciate Harden and KD for what they did last night.

The 2nd half was giving me flashbacks to when KD dropped 66 and closed at Rucker Park almost a decade ago.

I was LITERALLY thinking the same.... specifically the deep dagger pull up threes late.

Harden being on the court is a threat but he was clearly less than 50%. His performance in the sec half was much better than the first half. I think he can’t play worse in G6. Also Kyrie is game time decision right now so anything can happen. I expect Kyrie to play in G6 or G7. With two of our big threes healthy, we can win the chip. Have faith.

This is where I am at. as great as last night was. I still think the Bucks are heavy favorites to win this series. odds of getting another 50 point KD game and super night from Green are not likely.

What really frustrates me is that the series should be over. coaches threw away game 3. if we ultimately lose this series we will point to the injuries, but blowing game 3 will really be what did us in

I refuse to believe Joe is going to play 4 terrible games in a row. He got some wide open looks yesterday and was just throwing up bricks. I just don't see how it can happen again. This dude is possibly the most consistent shooter in the league. It's killing us. It's a huge reason we're getting down big AND it's keeping our defensive players on the bench. Joe needs to throw these last 3 games away and come in focused.

Shout out to Shamet. Only 1 for 3 from deep but you could tell he was ready. He made a couple huge shots when KD was getting trapped. You could tell he was ready to attack.

Blake was huge man. 3 triples. A bunch of rim rolls that led to layups or dunks. Kept us alive early and hit some huge shots late.

Green is just such a perfect roleplayer. Hitting 7 3s might seem fluky but all of those were perfectly in the flow of the offense. He stayed aggressive driving. He can't guard Giannis 1 on 1 but he's smart enough to foul when he's completely beat.

Harden is just a warrior. He made a few bad decisions but this dude controlled the most intense game of the season - against a top defensive team - and he was JOGGING the whole time. Just ridiculous BBIQ and leadership. I hope he somehow feels better for Game 6 - maybe he was just tentative because he hadn't gotten a full practice in. Either way, such a gutsy performance. Zero chance we win if he doesn't play. His presence just calmed everyone down.

For all the "Nets suck on defense" and "nets have no bigs and cant rebound"

We are holding the highest scoring offense in the league to 98.8 points per game, outrebounding them, and holding them to awful shooting.

Im not confident joe will turn it around on the road... but hopefully he is good game 7.

Harden was dunking all over in pregame. i was surprised how limited he was, but it makes sense. he is still better then mike james even hurt... if he can hit a few threes, that would be enormous

Despite KD's heroics, this series will still be tough to win.

I am still pissed we blew Game 3. That was our chance to end it.

It looks like Kyrie is out for the series. And James is a shell of himself.

I'm not sure if James was so terrible last night due to conditioning or because of injury. Either way we don't win until he gives us something.

Joe Harris has to snap back to normal.

Others like Shamet need to make shots. KD can't win this series by himself.

Yeah, as much joy we got out of last night's incredible display, the reality is, we are banged up and I don't see us winning if Harden is at risk (remember, overcompensation for one injury can lead to something else. we don't want that) and Kyrie isn't healthy.

We might have to face facts. This isn't our year.

The Nets defense has been excellent in pretty much every game of this series. It's the offense that was killing us.

James is scared to explode off of that right leg. Despite that he had 8 assist and 6 rebounds and showed big balls on that defensive possession versus Giannis. He gave us what he could.

Nets scored 99 points the final 3 quarters. thats the offense we need to win this series.

all the talk about the nets defense being trash, bucks have had some awful defensive performances with nets missing stars

Return to Brooklyn Nets
