This feels very lazy to point out that his final year the main rotation was over 26, he was only the coach of that team for half the season and there were changes made to the team that off season
and PS, 40 year old Jason Terry is not a good thing
His first year, there was 12 different guys that started atleast 10 games and the average age of those 12 was 24
also this team had a second year Giannis, who wasnt the giannis of today.
His 2nd year on the bucks, the starting lineup was
c - Greg Monroe aged 25
PF - Jabari Parker aged 20
SF - Giannis aged 20
sg - Khris Middleton aged 24
pg - Michael Carter Williams aged 24
His 3rd year
C - John Henson - aged 26
Pf - Jabari aged 21 (as usual missed 31 games), backup was 19 year old Thon Maker
SF - Giannis, 22
sg - Tony Snell 25 (middleton only played 20 games)
Pg - Malcom Brogdon for half the season, 24... but he was a 24 year old rookie 2nd round pick, the rest of the year was 26 year old Delladova
So yeah....he was in charge of a very young team for most of his tenure there
“I think when you, you know, become 25 or, you know, in the 28 range, you tend to think about the game. We’re talking about kids, that are thinking about trying to put the ball in the basket. And, they all believe they can do it, and until we can think about being a team and making a play and being unselfish, you know, good things happen and we’ve seen it.”

But blaming players because they are under 25 is unprecedented. In fact, only three rotation players — Giannis Antetokounmpo, Thon Maker, and Rashad Vaughn — are under 25. Kidd also relieved the coaching staff from any responsibility regarding the young players’ decision-making.
Nobody blamed him for sucking in year one or two. But after 4 years team showed no progress whatsoever in W- L column.
When he was fired, during 2017-18 season, Joe Prunty, intrum coach, won more games than he did with pretty much same group of guys.
Also praising guy for playing young players to me is absurd. It's not like you have to be amazing coach to put young players on the floor, you can find guy from street to do so.
In addition main reason why he played so many young players is fact that they kept too many draft picks that were simply poor talents.
John Henson- their former lottery pick - flop
Thon Maker- former lottery pick- flop
Vaughn-- 17 pick- flop
MCW- former 10# pick ( traded for him )
Tyler Ennis- former 18 # pick
+ Greg Monroe (biggest FA siging in Bucks history at times ) AND Miles Plumlee were eating crazy amount of their salary due Hammond's incompetence.
