If you think Thibs can reach him like he did with Randle, it's a good risk, and he would probably be the best "realistic" option for us at PG
It also does come down to the price. I might even consider taking Love on if it meant not giving up firsts for him.

I suggested a trade with Love coming back but figured it still might cost a first rounder, so I added the #21.
It's better if it's realistic to think Knicks could just take on Love.
It does mean being capped out. I didn't study the cap ramifications, but off the top of my head, if the Knicks take on Love (it's two more years at around 30 million), would the following happen:
Trade for Sexton/Love
Sexton/Rose
RJ/IQ
Bullocks/Vildozer
Randle/Obi
Mitch/Love
Picks etc
BUT - Sexton gets a big $ contract after 2021, Randle gets a big contract after 2021, Love's large contract runs through the end of 22, and then RJ gets a big $ contract that year as well.
Isn't it basically committing to a Sexton/RJ/Randle core for the next 3+ years?
